Witness for the Prosecution at Barnstormers!

After returning from Phoenix, Evan will head to the beautiful Barnstormers Theatre to play Leonard Vole in Agatha Christie's courtroom drama Witness for the Prosection! Vole is put on trial for the sensational murder of a wealthy older widow, and the plot and characters twist and turn right up until the dizzying finale. The role was immortalized by famous leading man Tyrone Power in the 1957 film adaptation, and then again by Beau Bridges in the 1982 film adaptation.

Dream a Little Dream at the Phoenix Theatre

Beginning in April, Evan will play the role of lead singer Denny Doherty in Dream a Little Dream: The True Story of The Mamas and The Papas at the beautiful Phoenix Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona! The show "follows the tumultuous career of the famed Rock n' Roll group told through the eyes of Denny Doherty...They embodied the late 60’s and were the essence of sex, drugs and Rock n' Roll.

T-Shirts and New Shows and Blogs -- Oh My!

Hey all,

Been a crazy week. Still working on these Halloween videos. If anyone wants to donate a faster computer my way, my door is open. I'm not worried though, the show was only 4 months ago.

Yeah.

Anyhoot, our show at the Middle East was freakin epic, as predicted. We had a ton of fun playing there again, and it was awesome to see Gang of Thieves again. Check out this review of the show on Allston Pudding!

Whoops!

Hey everyone (if you're still out there),

Been a long while since the last blog post! We've been busy getting ready for the Middle East show coming up tomorrow, so no time for messing around with websites and the like. To top it all off, I changed jobs and bought a house (yikes). And even crazier and more amazing, Owen had a baby girl (holy crap cakes mcgee)!

"As a vegetable it is obviously one of God's mistakes, but as a name it passes, I think."

Joy!

Weeks (months?) ago, I was cast as Miss Framer in Peter Shaffer's Lettice and Lovage with The Next Door Theater Company in Winchester, MA. Opening night is next week! Friday, the 20th, at 8pm at the Next Door Center for the Arts. Tickets are $25. See their website for more info (the show runs for only two weekends, don't miss it!): www.nextdoortheater.org

Speaking of the exciting world of English history - more Shakespeare is on the way!

Happy New Year!

Evan hit the ground running upon returning to the USA! First, Gold in the Hills at the Barnstormers Theatre was an absolute blast! Evan shared the stage with some extraordinary veterans of stage and screen, and as the hero in the melodrama, ran the gamut from singing several lovely ballads to smashing a window with a chair, brandishing a gun at a gang of ruffians, and choking a mustachioed villain. Melodramas are too much fun for words.

Oh Hai

It's been a busy couple weeks for us, and continues to be so, so I'm keeping today's blog entry short.

We've been editing the Halloween footage like crazy, trying to get it ready for Youtube. It'll be up likely in early to mid December. Nothing like launching your Halloween themed concert right up against Christmas. Awkward. Just try and remember that we don't always dress that way.

Or do we?

Important Update

Sad news:

New Art Theatre's production of The Glass Menagerie has been cancelled. As I understand it, the recent Nor'Easter had a lot to do with several schools having to change their plans and cancel. There was only one public performance, but I do hope that this doesn't cause any inconveniences. It seems like the venue's website is not yet updated to reflect the cancellation, or with any information for those who may have already bought tickets. I recommend calling the Dana Center if you fall into this category. Here's their website again:

Blog Entry 2 - Electric Boogaloo

Thanks to everyone who came this past Friday, it was a pretty awesome show! I'd never been to the Marlborough house before (it's located in Marlborough, NH, in case you couldn't guess), and it turns out to be a pretty big church building. It had some very cool Halloween themed decorations, lights, a camera crew (get ready for some videos, World), and our good friend Cooper, the manager for Ghost Dinner Band did sound for us. All good things.

Halloween Show

You may suddenly have noticed, with startling clarity and emotional response, that a blog has been started on this page! In fact, you are reading it right now! With your eyes! Huzzah!

In any case, we will hence forth be documenting the trials and tribulations involved in being in a alternative-reggae-progressive-rock? band in New England, specifically the Boston area. We'll be talking about practices, recording experiences, fighting within the band, shows, gear, etc. Or whatever I want, really.

But today -- We talk of snow.
