Dream a Little Dream and Broadway Bares XXII

Dream a Little Dream: The Nearly True Story of the Mamas and the Papas at the Phoenix Theatre was an enormous success! The cast was incredible, the box office sales broke records, and the reviews were absolutely stellar. David Appleford of 99.9 KEZ, for example, wrote that "Evan Siegel gets the tone of Denny Doherty so right you fall into the trap of occasionally thinking you’re seeing the real thing. His characteristic head tossing while performing is perfect...With Dream a Little Dream, I couldn't wait to leap to my feet." Downtown Devil wrote that the show was "simply mesmerizing", and the Arizona Republic raved that the "trademark harmonies soar all the way through the encore." Plus, Owen Elliot (Cass's daughter), Emberly Doherty (Denny's daughter), and Michelle Phillips herself paid a surprise visit to one of the performances!!!

Up next, Evan will portray a progressively-more-scantily-clad prince in Broadway Bares XXII: Happy Endings at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC! If you are so inclined, please visit Evan's Fundraising Page and help support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. It is a truly wonderful cause.

Happy beginning of Summer, everyone!
