Concert with J. Mark McVey, Witness, and War Dead

A few weeks ago, Evan had the enormous honor of performing at the Ridgewood Bandshell with his teacher and mentor J. Mark McVey! Also featured in the performance were Ciaran Sheehan (Phantom in Phantom of the Opera), Christy Tarr-McVey (Emma/Jane in Jekyll and Hyde, Beth McVey (Carla in Nine), and MANY others. It was an absolute joy for Evan to spend time with and perform with people whom he admires so deeply.

In other news, Witness for the Prosecution at the Barnstormers Theatre was a wonderful success! The Agatha Christie whodunit kept audiences guessing until the enormous final twist: Evan's sympathetic and downtrodden character was revealed to be the murderous villain, and then was killed in a fit of passion by his devoted wife. It was an absolute blast from start to finish.

Up next, Evan will head to upstate New York to film a short film entitled War Dead, written by Zoe Samuel (Jihad: the Musical on London's West End). Details are not public at the moment, but suffice it to say that he will be playing an elite Navy SEAL commando. Quite a change from the sophisticated 1950s sociopath he just finished playing. Never a dull moment!

Happy Summer, everyone!
